About This Place

Located in the heart of Rosemount, Minnesota, Suzie's Kitchen stands out as a beloved American restaurant where comfort food meets genuine hospitality. This charming eatery offers a warm, small-town café vibe that instantly feels like a home away from home. Whether you’re starting your day or looking for a satisfying meal, Suzie’s menu delivers both traditional favorites and hearty sandwiches with a freshness and flavor that keep locals—and newcomers—coming back for more.

At Suzie’s Kitchen, the breakfast offerings are undeniable crowd-pleasers. Imagine waking up to fluffy pancakes that are perfectly thick yet tender, or indulging in a generous serving of Two Eggs with crispy hash browns and toast that set the tone for a fulfilling day. The Eggs Benedict here is a standout, featuring poached eggs resting on tender English muffins, draped in silky hollandaise sauce—a true delight for the palate. Those craving something heartier often rave about the Biscuits and Gravy or the Breakfast Burrito, both offering layers of comforting textures and rich, savory flavors. For a sweet finish, the cinnamon roll, with its melting frosting and soft, doughy swirl, brings a nostalgic sweetness that lingers long after the last bite.

If you lean toward sandwiches, Suzie’s Super Sandwiches sweep you into a world of classic American deli favorites with a twist. The Reuben and Rachael sandwiches are packed with tender, flavorful meats and perfectly melted cheese, while the Philly Cheese Steak option appeals to those seeking a robust, satisfying meal. For grilled options, the Chicken Cordon Bleu and Hot Ham Sandwich offer a gourmet take on comfort food that’s both indulgent and crave-worthy.

Diners often mention the friendliness and attention to detail from the Suzie’s team, creating not just a meal but an experience. Melissa O shares how the staff’s kindness shines through in little ways—like encouraging her son to swap breakfast sausage for all bacon, ensuring he left happy. Sofia Cervantes also appreciated the accommodating service when substituting her regular toast for French toast, a small but telling example of how Suzie’s Kitchen prioritizes customer satisfaction.

The atmosphere complements the food beautifully—simple, welcoming, and genuine. The unpretentious decor and casual ambience invite you to relax and savor every bite without rush. It’s exactly the kind of place where community lives in every friendly exchange and every carefully prepared plate. Tameer Mady summed it up perfectly, calling Suzie’s one of his top three favorite breakfast spots, praising the freshness and authenticity of the food alongside an owner who clearly cares deeply about both customers and staff.

Though a few guests, like Aihn Yaj, noted minor improvements in greeting and seasoning, these glimpses only reinforce the restaurant’s approachable charm and dedication to continuous improvement. With a convenient drive-thru option also available, Suzie’s Kitchen effortlessly blends home-cooked quality with modern convenience.

Whether you are a local looking for your new go-to breakfast nook or a traveler seeking a genuine taste of American diner classics, Suzie’s Kitchen delivers with heart, flavor, and unmistakable warmth. Every dish tells a story of comfort, care, and connection—making it not just a meal, but a memorable experience.

Small town cafe vibe, staff is so friendly and nice, they check in with you often. My son left breakfast sausage on his plate & they said just tell them next time to give him all bacon, they just want him to like it. Pancakes are big and delicious also. Oh- I haven't tried it but they have a drive thru!

My friend and I had the most pleasant experience at this restaurant. We are from out of town, and were in need of something local, and this restaurant did not disappoint! I usually get the same eggs, bacon & toast, but sometimes try substituting the regular toast for French toast at other places which usually don’t allow that, but luckily this place did! The waiter was very kind and took our order quickly, and the food came out not long after. Everything was presentable, hot and delicious! The hot cocoa was equally as delicious! It made for a perfect last day breakfast while on our stay in Minnesota. I would definitely return back next time!

Lost for words. Found this place a couple days ago and this is now in my top 3 favorite breakfast spots. Their food is fresh, delicious, cooked perfectly and doesn't taste pre-made or frozen like most places now. The owner is amazing and she goes out of her way to make sure customers are happy. It's one thing to treat customers right but she also treats her staff very well, and that's probably why they make some of the best food in MN. I'm a lifelong customer now.

Food was nice and hot. The omelettes were under seasoned for me, but nothing some sauces can't fix. Service was ok. When we walked in, there wasn't really anyone to greet my fiance and I. As first timers at this diner, some general guidance would be nice. Maybe there was a "seat yourself sign" I missed, but some of the signs were made of printer paper and hand written. Some places guide you to a seat, others (like this one) points at a table and you have to kind of guess. After the initial order phase, everything was pretty smooth. Waitress periodically checked in and I was able to get a water refill pretty easily. The interior seemed to be a bit out of date, but has its own kind of charm. The open sign looked like it was half lit? Chairs were off and rocky. Overall a solid experience.

What a great breakfast spot! Cozy, family-friendly, delicious & exceptional service. Portion sizes were huge! We enjoyed the coffee, cinnamon roll, Denver Omelette, Kid’s pancakes (with whipped cream & strawberry topping!) & the Chili Omelette. Everyone in our party was pleased with their meal and walked away very full. We can’t wait to come back!
